A Creative Status update

music

Lately, things have been moving quietly but steadily in the Abducted Android universe. Between finishing up new music, experimenting with longform focus tracks, and launching a brand new interview series, there's been a lot going on behind the scenes. I wanted to take a moment to share where things are at, what's coming next, and how I’m working to connect with the ambient community in new ways.

New EP Almost Ready

After some late-night sessions and sonic exploration, I'm nearly finished with a new EP. This one leans less into generative structures and more into spacey arpeggios and melodic movement. Expect shimmering layers, evolving pads, and arps that spiral outward like signals lost in space. It’s a return to my core inspirations: minimal but expressive, digital with an analog soul. More details and a release date will follow soon!

Focus Music

In parallel with the EP, I released two 30-minute longform tracks crafted specifically as “working music.” These are meditative, steady, and non-intrusive: ideal for deep focus, reading, coding, or zoning out with intent.

They’ve kicked off in a Youtube playlist that I’ll be expanding over time. The idea is to offer a consistent stream of calm, immersive soundscapes that support your workflow without stealing attention.

Curated Ambient Playlist on Spotify

I also started a Spotify playlist where I’m collecting some of my personal ambient favourites: a mix of deep cuts, hidden gems, but also some well-known classics that have inspired me creatively. It’s an evolving list that I’ll keep updating over time, so feel free to follow it and drift along with me. Think of it as a window into the sounds I keep coming back to. Perfect for late-night listening, quiet moments, or discovering new artists.

Interview Series with Emerging Ambient Artists

A new experiment I’m really excited about: I’ve started conducting interviews with obscure and emerging ambient artists.

The response so far has been amazing! Far more than expected. And it's clear there’s a real hunger for deeper connections within the ambient scene. I’ll be releasing about two interviews per week, giving you a chance to discover fresh voices, new music, and the stories behind the sounds.

This isn’t just about exposure; it’s about cross-connecting artists, building a shared audience, and creating space for more listening and mutual support.

Thanks for Tuning In

Whether you’re here for the music, the interviews, or just passing through the void: thanks for listening and supporting. There’s more coming soon, and I’m glad you’re part of this universe!

Stay cosmic,
— Abducted Android
